President

Carlos Favoreto

He is from Rio de Janeiro City and he comes from a traditional catholic family. An agronomy engineer, Carlos Favoreto majored in Environmental Sciences at the Rural Federal University and he got his doctrine in Science, Technology, and Innovation at UFRJ (RJ – Brazil) and UCN (Cordoba – Argentina).

Through Eco 92, held in Rio de Janeiro, the environment theme initiated his ample discussion in Brazil, impacting directly in what today is considered sustainable development. Having participated actively at this conference, he realized the relevance of bringing these themes to everyday life; he starts his professional activity by licensing mining businesses in the city of Rio de Janeiro. At this moment he sees the necessity of all sectors to search for a new way to work, bringing to life the desire to create his own environment consulting business in the global market. In 2000, after 7 years of experience in the market and of acting as a post graduate college professor since 1996 in Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, São Paulo, and Maranhão, he made his dream come true.

He is the executive director of ECP Environmental Solutions, President of the São Francisco de Assis Distinguished Counsel, and president of the Climate Institute, as well as of other consulting businesses specialized in projects and works of environmental engineering and urbanization, to varied activities, highlighting real estate entrepreneurships (residential, commercial, and industrial), road concessions, sanitary landfills, in addition to recreation centers. Under his leadership, these businesses were highlighted in the environmental gestation in the country being the reference in various sectors like the mining markets, sanitation, agricultural business, real estate, resident, power, petroleum and gas, educational projects, and big sports entrepreneurships (FIFA 2014 World Cup, and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games). Carlos Favoreto is the head of his company and with a team of more than sixty high eve professionals acting in many environmental areas in the country, like: São Paulo City, Brasilia, Manaus, Tocantins, and Rio de Janeiro.

Legal Director

Marcelo Gonçalves

He started his career at Ericsson, at the age of 17 years, where he implanted contracts. At 23 years, he built a business where he was a partner to distribute Ericsson in RJ, after he majored in Law.
After getting license, he did all of the legal corporate and tax load for his own businesses, developing contracts with the biggest players in the market.

Having majored in Law at the Gama Filho University, in 1999, he is specialized in a few areas, like: Taxation Rights, Corporate Rights, Environmental Rights, and Administrative Rights. He developed works in Corporate Rights, directed back to bidding in the group of businesses he belongs to.
Today, he also exercises the role of Counsel and Institutional Relations Director of OAB/RJ.

Technical Environment Director

Camilo Pinto de Souza

He acts directly in the coordination and the gestation of projects and programs in the different areas of the environment, sustainability, ESG/ASG and Energy Efficiency. He has ample experience in licensing and environmental gestation with focus on fulfilling the legal requirements and defining sustainability strategies for the different sectors of the economy. He is the auditor leader NBR ISO14001, the Conama auditor leader 306 and he is an Environment Legal Expert – IEL/IBAPE.

He coordinates and executes the implantation, evaluation and audits the Gestation of Environmental Systems, the management of projects, Evaluation of Environmental Impacts, he coordinates Environmental Studies (EIA, RAP, RAA, EIV, EVTEA, RCA, PBA, PCA, and PRAD) with focus in the infrastructure of transportation (Roads, Ports, etc.) and Agribusiness, thus developing studies in other productive activities of small, medium, and large magnitudes. In addition to the responsibilities as a coordinator, he exercises activities like: the supervision and execution of Environmental Programs; technical defense with the local government instances; social organizations, and others who are interested; the elaboration of technical and commercial proposals and interfacing with clients and suppliers.

He is a biologist, with a doctrine at (PGCTIA/UFFRJ), with masters in Chemical Processes Technologies and Biochemistry (EQ/UFRJ). He is specialized in Environmental Sciences. Nowadays he is a consultant-researcher at IVIG/COPPE/UFRJ, UFF/FEC and UERJ/CEMAI developing activities of technical support back to environmental themes and he has taught as a collaborator at UERJ – biology department at the Veiga de Almeida University and is an ex-director General of the Integrated Colleges of Jacarepaguá.

Communications Director

Anna Turano

Anna Maria Botelho Bastos Carrapito, professional known as Anna Turano, is a journalist. She has acquired solid experience in the areas of integrated or corporative – business communication (internal, institutional, and in marketing), digital communication and market with a strong experience as a press officer and content developer, acting as a marketing analyst in large businesses in Brazil and the United States like: Federal Insurance S.A., IBM Brazil, Agito Rio Magazine (Brazil), Sykes Enterprises and Vectra Bank Colorado – USA.

She is post graduated in Media Ethics (Boulder University, Colorado, USA), in Public Communications (BTI – Brazilian Training Institute), and in Marketing and Social Media. She speaks are: Portuguese (native), English (Fluent), Spanish (Intermediate), and German (Basic).

Anna is an associate at Friendship Productions (www.institutoclima.com.br) since 2008, as communication director of the Sustainable Development Climate Institute (www.institutoclima.com.br), and she acts in the following sectors: content developing for corporate websites, e-learning, creation of publicity campaigns and of endomarketing, elaboration of campaigns for TV and websites, text development for commercials and promotional materials, raising funds and partnerships for national and international campaigns, creating visual programing, text reviews, elaboration of releases, creation and planning, digital communication, website translations (English – Portuguese/Portuguese- English), media in social media. She is always dedicated to the social environmental causes. Anna has received many environmental awards (like: Transforming My Square; ODS; Marine Friendship Medal; G10), she has been a member of Clean Up The World since 2003 and she organizes, ininterruptly, a yearly planner of four sustainable events. They are: Cleaning Block (in February), Cleaning and Recycling – Global Environment Day (in June), Clean Up The World – Cleaning The World (in September), and Eco Christmas (in December).

Production Director

Hildon Carrapito

He is a cinema technician, video director, and a radio broadcaster. Hildon Carrapito began his carrier as a TV show producer at Globo Network, where he worked for 10 years. With solid experience in strategic marketing and in transmissions of TV shows to more than 150 countries, he participated on the production of large events like: Frank Sinatra at Maracana, Carnival and Formula 1 Grand Prix. He conquered awards like M and Waves, considered the largest tittles for TV shows of the world between the years of 1980 and 1981.

In 1985 Friendship Productions was born (www.amiganca.com.br), a company under the leadership of Hildon Carrapito. Since this time, the company has a vast history and a large list of high-end clients in the national and international market. Brahma, Pepsi, Benetton, Xuxa Productions, Globo Network, Brazil Castrol, Nestle, Alpargatas, Brazilian Army, Escala Events, DEM(Democrats), and Health Ministry are some examples. Hildon is also a film production specialist in institutional commercials, in addition to live transmissions for the launching of campaigns and products.

Hildon is a natural born environmentalist. Today he is the director producer for the Sustainable Development Climate Institute (www.institutoclima.org.br). He received many environment awards like: Transforming My Square, Golden Staff, Live Lagoon, ODS, Marine Friendship Medal, G10). Naturally, in 2002, he bid his tokens on the subject of the moment, the environment, and so the TV Show At The Beach was born, transmitted by Bandeirantes TV, that originated a series of social environmental events, after he became a member of Clean Up The World. These events are: Cleaning Block (in February), Cleaning and Recycling – Global Environment Day (in June), Clean Up The World – Cleaning The World (in September), and Eco Christmas (in December).
