Rio Innovation Week is a milestone in the Brazilian economy

Rio Innovation Week is a milestone in the Brazilian economy.

Held at the Jockey Clube Brasileiro, the RIW came with big national and international names, handled more than 300 million reais, raising the spirits of the entire hotel chain in the state; in addition to having been a great incentive for thousands of young entrepreneurs and for the generation of new businesses. This wonderful event has already won a special place in the Rio de Janeiro Events Agenda, as the biggest event of this category in Latin America; and already has its next edition scheduled for November this year.

The Clean Up The World Platform took place on January 15th and 16th (Saturday and Sunday), with several attractions. The international environmental leader, Céline Cousteau, granddaughter of the legendary, Jacques Cousteau, presented a beautiful Keynote, whose theme was: Innovation and Nature: a global story – on the morning of the 15th – which was being broadcast to more than 20 million people by the TV Network UTV Brasil and Bem Mais TV; in addition to You Tube. Céline was considered the biggest attraction of the RIW on the 15/1.

Like us, Céline also supports the signing of the letter that fully preserves and defends State Law 8,473 – which establishes new rules for replacing traditional plastic bags with returnable ones. Follow the link of the undersigned for this noble initiative: www.change.org/LeiDasSacolas .

Also, on the 16th, Sunday morning, Céline Cousteau flew over the Marvelous City with us, by helicopter – granted by the renowned, Táxi Aéreo Maricá, represented by Mr. Commander, Ricardo Assad. The landing took place at COG – Olympic Golf Course, where Céline was able to meet and was very happy with the reception of the CEO and President of the COG and ECP, Carlos Favoreto. Céline praised the impeccable maintenance and the beauty and preservation of the Barra da Tijuca Olympic Golf Course.

We are already moving activities for the next edition of the event, which will be in November this year! We will come with great news!

Clean Up The World, in partnership with Plastic Bank, enabled the collection of waste from Rio Innovation Week, providing the correct destination for these; in addition to counting on the detailed generation of a collection report prepared by Plastic Bank Brasil, and the generation of the Certificate for the General Organization of the RIW, attesting the event as a sustainable activity.

We emphasize that all the content of this event was broadcast live. Below is the link with great moments of the event.
